Dr. Caroline Pattie

Dr. Caroline Pattie was born in San Francisco and raised in Arlington, VA. She always knew that she wanted to be a Veterinarian, and earned her veterinary degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.

After graduation, she joined a small animal practice in Virginia and after a year, the practice owner suggested that she follow her interest in acupuncture and she attended Chi University and earned her acupuncture certification. She stayed in the practice for 15 years, witnessing the practice grow into a 24 hour care center.

At the end of the pandemic, she left the practice and is working with Dr. Jordan Kocen at the Veterinary Holistic Center in Northern Virginia, as well as doing locum work in area practices.

Please enjoy this conversation with Dr. Caroline Pattie as we discuss her education, practice history, holistic training, and her service on the AHVMA Board.
