Dr. Tifani Torres

Dr. Tifani Torres was raised in South Texas. She can't remember a time when she didn't want to be a Veterinarian.

She earned her BS in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 2008, her DVM from Ross University in 2012. After graduation, she went into equine practice in Ocala, Florida and then into small animal practice in South Florida before returning to Texas to work first on a White Tailed Deer Ranch and then in small animal general and emergency practice before founding her own practice, Back in Motion Veterinary Services, in 2017.

She was certified in Acupuncture by Chi University soon after her first equine position, but it wasn't until returning to Texas that she attended the Animal Chiropractic Education Source and was certified in Animal Chiropractic by the AVCA. In addition to acupuncture and chiropractic, she is also certified in Companion Animal Rehabilitation.

Back in Motion began as a mobile practice, but has since evolved to a brick and mortar for small animals while continuing to offer mobile equine mobility services. Services include lameness exams and gait analysis, joint injections and orthopedic radiographs as well as shockwave therapy, laser therapy, and small animal hydrotherapy.

Please enjoy this conversation with Dr. Tifani Torres as we discuss her education, work history, and expansion into a larger practice space to include haul in facilities for equine work.
